Awwww! These two look so adorable walking on this vintage Planter / Vase that most likely came with a Welcome New Baby floral arrangement.

This is rather large, the base measuring 5 X 4 Inches and the walls are nearly 3 1/2 inches and the boy stands 6 1/2 inches tall. The piece is numbered 6923 on the bottom. Sticker is long gone, just residual glue left.

Jack and Jill from the Nursery Rhyme, are 2 rosy cheeked, happy faced children walking each with a bucket. They are holding hands going up the hill to fetch a pail of water. They also look as though they are on their way to school perhaps with lunches in the pails. The details are beautiful. The children are holding hands, she has a polka dot pinafore and bows in her hair, he's wearing a shorts, sweater and hat.

Perfect to use as a vase or planter of course, but also as a catch all on the desk, in the nursery, bath or kitchen.

Would make a wonderful gift for the teacher, just fill it with post it notes, pencils and pens, tape, staples, stickers, scissors, paper clips and such. Or for the new mom filled with Q-tips, cotton balls, diaper pins, diaper rash cream, ect.

This is a vintage item and does show it's age with a small area of crazing on the main body of the piece above her bucket and a hairline crack on his side. I did not even notice these until inspecting in the sunlight. These do not detract from the charm and appeal of the piece.
