Basic use of jewelers' pliers
Know how to make jump rings
Know how to make wrapped loops

This is an intermediate-level tutorial, but if you have been making wire jewelry for a few months, I hope you'll give it a try.

Tools and Materials:
Approx. 3 inches (7.6 cm) 18-gauge dead-soft round wire
8 inches (20 cm) 20-gauge dead-soft round wire
16 inches (41 cm) 28-gauge dead-soft round wire
4 mm round bead
Ring mandrel (or a one-inch-diameter candle, or similar)
Cutters
Bail pliers, bent-nose or chain-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers, round-nose pliers

Convex Hammer and Bench Block
400-grit polishing paper
