HI!

I have had a lot of interest with people wanting to purchase this costume I used for a recent makeup competition. Especially with Labyrinth Of Jareth Ball upcomming. The theme of the competition was Alice In Wonderland and I created this steampunk version to be different. ((totally won 1st place.. YAY ME!)) Message me if you would like links to You Tube videos featuring her time on the runway.

The costume for sale consists of a few pieces:

*gloves
*corset
*skirt
*tophat

A little about the garments:

I lovingly made everything you see here. I do have a bit of a background in costuming and I LOVE LOVE detail work. The countless hours I put into it paid off... so hard to let it go. The entire body is wool and the trim is hand dyed cotton.

The gloves lace up with elastic making them super comfortable. I have a privacy panel included to cover any gap between the laces. My model has an 8" upper arm and it closes completely. I did like the gap effect so I loosened them. I don't have an 8" upper arm and they still look amazing!

The corset is fully boned unlined. There is a front busk for easy wearing and a privacy panel in the back to cover any gap between laces. My model has a 24" waist and the corset closes completely. I have a 28" waist and it looks fantastic! The gears are leather with a backing and rivited to the panel. There is a small pocket for you to put your pocket watch. I don't include the pocket watch because my husband would kill me :)

The skirt is a short 2 panel bustle skirt with velcro waist. The velcro waist insures propper fit and makes it easy to wear.

The tophat matches everything. The ears are sculpted leather and airbrushed. Unfortunately, someone at the event man handled the ears with dirty hands and made a few marks on one side. I don't want to attempt to clean it or cover with new paint as it was a custom color I made. ALSO, there is a bit of silicone paint on the underside of the hat. A place that doesn't show unless you turn it over when not wearing it. Message me if you need a picture of it.

The clock in the tophat is a WORKING CLOCK. It was interesting to hear the comments from the crowd about this fact.

NOTE: The tail is made of a white rabbit pelt and is pinned together with giant safety pins to give it that shape. The tail is pinned to the skirt as well. There is bits of white rabbit fur at the base of the ears as well to blend them into the top hat.

I'm willing to include the wig at no charge. It has a bit of airbrush makeup at the hairline but nothing major. I will properly sanitize it for you if you like to have the wig as well.

SO... how much am I letting it go for?? I am willing to entertain some reasonable offers. But I can't let it go for under $850.00. I realize this is a high price but when I consider the countless hours and the high cost of materials this is an accurate reflection for the costume.

This is a highly photographable one of a kind costume and completely worthy of every penny!!!

I do expect payment with in 3 business days of sale. I ship with in 3 business days from cleared payment. ALL of my items come from a smoke free home but I do have kitties.

Hope you enjoy it!!!
