This listing is for custom dyed shift gradient yarns, dyed over a set of 4 x 50g skeins on a base of your choice, or 6 x 20g mini skeins (marked as minis in the drop down options). If you wish to order more (6 x 50g for example) please message me.

Colours are not limited to those in the picture. Please tell me what colours you would like your set dyed around in the notes to seller at checkout.

You can find more details about my yarn bases and link your purchases to your stash on Ravelry - http://www.ravelry.com/yarns/brands/felt-fusion

I've had to list some of the yarn choices in the drop down in secret code because there wasn't enough space allowed for full names, so here they are in full;

All lengths below are for standard 100g skeins unless otherwise stated.

Single ply 100% superwash merino fingering - 366m/400yds
75% Superwash BFL/25% nylon sock - 400m/437yds
75% Superwash merino/25% nylon sock - 425m/464yds
75% Superwash merino/20% nylon/5% silver sparkle sock - 400m/437yds
High twist 80% superwash merino/20% nylon sock - 365m/399yds
80% Superwash merino/20% nylon sport - 300m/328yds
100% Superwash merino dk - 225m/246yds
100% Superwash BFL dk - 225m/246yds
100% Superwash springy extra fine merino dk - 200m/240yds per 115g
100% Superwash merino 'Crazy 8' dk - 250m/273yds
80% Superwash merino/20% nylon dk - 225m/246yds
75% Superwash merino/20% nylon/5% silver stellina sparkle dk - 212m/231yds
80% Superwash merino/10% cashmere/10% nylon aran - 166m/181yds
100% Superwash merino aran - 166m/181yds
100% Superwash merino chunky - 100m/109yds

The mini skeins are the superwash merino/nylon sock, Superwash merino/nylon/silver sparkle sock and the Superwash merino 'Crazy 8' as above, but in 20g increments.

Please note that the term 'sock' is generic and these yarns are otherwise known as fingering or 4-ply, the word sock in no way limits them to or recommends them for use in socks. If you are buying specifically for socks I would recommend a base with nylon content.

Occasionally I have other bases instock, so if you're looking for something else please ask and I will see what I can do.

If you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to get in touch, either through here or through my Facebook page.

Please note that different yarn bases take dyes differently. Superwash yarns generally give a brighter, more vivid result, but there are lots of factors involved in hand dyeing. I dye in small batches, but even skeins dyed together may not be exactly the same, so you may choose to alternate yarns in your projects.

I do my utmost to represent colours to the best of my ability in all of my listings, but please take into account different monitors may show colours differently.

FAQs

Custom orders are most welcome. I love to work to order. If you don't see what you are looking for in my shop, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Custom items cannot be returned unless they are faulty. Postage costs will not be refunded.
Payment installments can be discussed, however once an installment, deposit or full payment has been paid it is non-refundable.
I will not start work on your order until payment has been made in full.
If you have bought hand dyed yarn or knitted items I would suggest hand washing your finished items with a gentle, suitable wool wash.
Hand dyed yarns may, on occasion, 'bleed' into your washing water - this is due to a little excess dye being left over from the dyeing process and should rinse out. If you wish to use a little white vinegar in your rinsing water this can help.
Scented wool washes, lanolins or knitting with hand creams, or even just the pH of our skin can sometimes cause the dyes to bleed - this is called 'crocking'. In the event of this happening with your yarn I cannot accept returns or refund your purchase.
Wholesale orders are welcome. Please contact me to discuss details. My hand dyed yarns can currently be found at Pink Milk, Leicester, Wool N Stuff, Wakefield and also at the Australian eBay shop A Chronic Yarnoholic.
Unfortunately due to repeated issues with the French postal system all parcels to France will need to be tracked, hence the high postage cost. I will not refund or replace any missing items to France until at least 30 working days have passed from the date posted.
