Description

Measures:

Yellow - 13 1/4" tall X 4 3/4" diameter
Red - 7 1/4" tall X 4 3/4" diameter
Blue - 9 1/4" tall X 5 1/2" diameter

This is a set of three - varying height clyndrical canisters - hand thrown and hand painted in Morocco. They are made of terracotta and glazed with the three primary colors - red - yellow and blue - with smaller details covering all aspects of each canister.

These are primitively made and have natural variations and inconsistencies in the glaze and forms. They are all completely functional to hold storage items but since they are old - I have always left the wrappings on the food items stored in them - such as wrapped tea bags or keeping the coffee in a bag or beans in the bag - etc.

A part of the red canister has been repaired and you can still see a faint crack lines - only noticable on close inspection. There is a bit of crazing on each canister and considering these are primative Moroccan folk art pottery canisters - it does not detract from the look.

Two or the three are labeled on the base - "Hand Made in Morocco".

The price is for the set of three.
