Description

Please to introduce the Wee Baby Doll pattern by Fig and Me. The first of its kind!

#WEEBABYDOLLPATTERN

PLEASE NOTE. This is a PDF pattern to create the doll, not a finished toy. NO REFUNDS on Digital Patterns so please ask as many questions as you need to before ordering. Patterns is in English and comes with detailed instruction to create a BUNNY WEE BABY, but I have now offered two extra hats: Bear and Kitten. Please note, you can choose to sew the ears into whatever way you want to, use the "pinching method" as instructed to create the bunny ears, or stuff them a little and sew them down like in the photos.

If you want to get your feet wet with waldorf-style dollmaking, in an easy and simple way, this pattern introduces you to some of the main concepts like: rolling wool for a head, sculpting it with a needle and thread to give it its characteristic shape, covering it with fabric, basic facial proportions, the simplest of embroidery, and stuffing with wool. It is the perfect pattern for a beginner with a sewing machine, good intentions and the necessity to make a cute doll. It is a very simplified pattern, that will help you create a quick birthday present or a slew of characters for your little one.

You will be able to create your own little 9" tall Wee Baby with this handy step-by-step tutorial. It uses small amounts of materials and a little over two hours of time to come up with your doll.

The pattern requires the following materials:
1. Cashmere/wool knitted fabric piece 10" by 17", and same piece of light jersey to use as lining.
2. Stockinette/dollmaking tubular gauze, 16" long by 2" wide.
3. Dollmaking skin fabric 7" wide by 4.5" long.
4. Wool batting, 2.5 oz/75 grams, and a wee bit more to be safe.
5. Strong craft thread, matching sewing thread, embroidery thread for eyes and mouth, red beeswax crayon to blush cheeks.
6. Dollmaking needles, craft needles, scissors, disappearing marker, measuring tape, etc.

This pattern is designed for a BEGINNER crafter/dollmaker. It consists of 30 pages, with many step-by-step photos + pattern pieces.

THIS PATTERN IS PROVIDED FOR PRIVATE ENJOYMENT AND NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE. PLEASE DO NOT SELL ANY DOLLS MADE WITH THIS PATTERN, OR DOLLS MADE WITH MODIFICATIONS TO THIS PATTERN. COPYRIGHT FABIOLA PEREZ/FIG AND ME NATURAL TOYS 2017.
