This is a raku pendant or tile or miniature art that shows a farm with field. It measures about 50mm square and is between 7-8 mm thick. It is only partially glazed. It does have about a 1-2mm hole across the top for stringing. The back is signed. If you use this on a window sill you will have to secure it with a little putty. The sky is made with an impression of my Grandma's lace.

The raku process produces surface irregularities and can produce small chips, thermal shock lines, color transfer and crazing. Raku produces soot most of which can be washed off, but some remains. I have washed and rinsed all beads with baking soda then filed areas that were too rough. The black coloration is absorbed into the surface of the bead and ranges in color from black to light gray. The beads can sometimes smell smoky, especially close to production, but it fades over time. All clay beads are breakable.

These beads are new and never used.

I ship on Friday unless you request immediate shipping.
