You should know the basic stiches: chain stitch, single crochet, slip stitch, double crochet. All the other sticthes used in the pattern are explained.

This pattern is written in English in standard American terms and includes 40+ photos of the process. I have made chart for the lucky clover.
This pattern also have one alternative edging option for the waist (last picture above, pink bottom).
Pattern includes instructions for the following sizes XS,S,M,L

Materials needed:
100g of Fine/2 (sport/baby) or Light/3 (DK/light worsted) weight yarn.
Crochet hook 3mm/C/D (check the gauge),
Lycra fabric for the ties .
Elastic band (optional)
