'Lunch Break' fine art photography by Patrick Lajoie, limited edition image transfer on wood panel, signed and numbered on the back. From my 'Italian Holiday' series, shot in Venice.
Available in sizes 14" x14" (edition of 50), 22"x22" (edition of 25), 30"x30" (edition of 12), 40"x40" (edition of 7).
I make each of my photographic art works by starting with a professional quality archival print of my original image, which I then transfer by hand onto wood artist's panels, so that only the pigments from the print are left on the wood surface. Because the method I use is unpredictable and the image never transfers perfectly, each one I make has subtle imperfections (mostly a softness around the edges) that give it a slightly weathered or vintage look and ensures that no two are exactly alike. In addition, because the paler areas of colour are somewhat transparent the unique birch wood grain of each panel subtly shows through, giving the image an organic quality as well as a warm cast from the golden colour of the wood.
Made on 1.5” (3.75cm) thick birch ply artist panels, which have clear birch sides. All my images are made using Epson Ultrachrome Archival Pigment inks, tested to last a lifetime. Sides and top of each panel are coated and sealed with a hand-rubbed artist's wax for a soft, burnished finish. Pieces hang easily by resting on 2 level screws.

I accept payment through Paypal in US Dollars. Payment for purchases must be made in full before an order is shipped. In the case of e-cheques thru Paypal there will be a delay of several days before I receive payment from Paypal and can ship order.

In Canada: Ontario customers will be charged PST (8%) and GST (5%). New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland customers will be charged HST (13%). Any other province or territory will be charged GST (5%).
All customers with a shipping address outside of Canada will not be charged tax BUT should note that they may be assessed and charged tax and/or duty by the country/state they are having their purchase shipped to. Returns & exchanges
If you are not happy with your purchase please let me know within 7 days of receipt of shipment. Any returns must be authorized by me and arrive back to me in original condition. Shipping costs are not refundable and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Custom orders are final sale.

All items are carefully packed to protect them from being damaged in shipping, therefore I cannot take responsibility for damages incurred by the shipping carrier. In the rare event of this occurrence an insurance claim will have to be made with the carrier, which I will initiate but will also require the involvement of the receiver of the goods (the damaged item may have to be inspected by the postal carrier, etc).
