Here is a fun embellished vintage state trophy in the shape of Oregon, made of wood with gold metal accents and embellished with collaged hand-cut art paper with the message "OUR HAPPY PLACE."
The trophy is a medium color wood with definite woodgrain and beveled edges. The back is blank. The wood is highly polished. The original trophy plate has been removed.
It has been embellished with collaged art paper in natural shades of ivory, green, orange, teal and purple which spell out the message.
The trophy measures 10" wide, 7 3/4" tall, and 5" thick. The state shape is 5/8" thick. It is in good vintage condition, but looks vintage with some marks and scratches on the wood. The right metal bell-shaped piece has lots of scratches on it revealing the silver underneath. It still looks wonderful and has history.
This would be a fun gift for someone who loves Oregon, lives there or is moving there. It would look cool on your work desk or displayed on a bookshelf. Remind yourself what a amazing place Oregon is to live in. Oregon is a happy place- proclaim it!
