Set of 2 Large Triangular Rice and Noodle Bowls Chopstick Notches and Thumb Rest in Black Iron Red

Description

I formed these noodle bowls on the potter's wheel from a hazelnut brown stoneware clay. I gave them some stripes and a swirl in the center. I made some cuts on the sides of the bowls and then reattached them to form a rounded triangular shape. Into the rims, I carved a thumb rest and two notches for chopsticks to rest. I finished the bowls in my handcrafted glazes.

This listing is for the 2 bowls shown in the gloss black and iron red glazes. Chopsticks are not included.

Approximate Measurements: 6" W, 3" tall, 16 oz.

This set is available in other colors in my Etsy shop here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheMudPlace?ref=hdr_shop_menu§ion_id=7260511
