Description

A perfect pair of cards for National Card & Letter Writing Month!

I started the hashtag #feedyourmailbox on Twitter and Instagram as a way to encourage myself and others to drop more mail in our neighborhood blue boxes. The more those mailboxes get used, the more likely the USPS will keep them around.

Hand-typed text "feed your mailbox" next to a stately 1971 Postal Service Emblem cancelled postage stamp.

Send More Mail is a rallying cry to put pen to paper reconnect with friends.

Hand-typed text "send more mail" next to a whimsical 1974 Zip Code stamp.

Every card (A2 size, 4.25 x 5.5 inches) is hand typed on an old 1960s cursive Royal Safari typewriter and adorned with real cancelled postage stamps from the 70s. Ready to mail in cheerful can't-be-missed red envelopes that were lined by hand with pages from a vintage World Book Encyclopedia. Due to the handmade nature, every card varies slightly and each envelope liner is different.

Props are not included in the listing. You will only receive the handmade cards and lined envelopes.

Absolutely stunning! Arrived speedily, packaged beautifully & with care. To the cards themselves--better than I could imagine! Such a creative & fun use of vintage stamps. These cards will be hard to part with, but I know they will be loved by family & friends. Snail mail is the best!
