I know... WOW is the word in my head, too!

It took me a long time to figure out how to use the bottoms of the can without poking holes on them and sewing (which is the way most are used). The inside of the holes are sharp and fray the thread over time and it all falls apart. I found a magazine that taught how to inlay gems with crochet for making jewelry and adapted from there. Result: the bottoms are enveloped by the crochet; no holes, no sewing.

This is lovely bag! 12 inches long and 5.5 inches high. Sides are about an inch wide. Drops around 15 inches from the shoulder, but this can be adjusted if you'd like it shorter (if you want it longer, you need to let me know!).

The yarn is Hilos La Espiga, a thick shiny nylon thread imported from Mexico that is very resistant to fraying and soiling. It was lined with a beautiful flowery chiffon in brown tones (all hand sewn) and closes with a magnetic snap.

Any questions? Just convo me and I will be happy to add to this description.
