Description

This microwavable bacon cooker is perfect for cooking the perfect bacon, without all the splattering since the bacon drapes across the rim of the bacon cooker, it does not lay in the grease. It makes wonderful tasting bacon and jerky in just minutes. A lovely (okay, maybe, a not so lovely) home decor accent piece can be displayed for your shelf, counter top or table when not in use. Her name is "Bacari" & she is ready to help you make your breakfast.

This microwave bacon cooker was wheel thrown and then hand altered and sculpted by Lucky Stradley (that would be me). It would certainly make a great piece to add to your collection (hint) or as a gift (hint). It also has a handle for easy disposal of the grease.

Don't you just love his cute little eyes? I think they might just be his best quality.

This listing is for the actual item pictured here.
If there is a group photo, then it is just for size comparison.

Dimensions (approximate)
6 1/2" tall
6 1/2" wide at base

Someone please buy this piece. My husband says there are too many faces in our studio. It makes him nervous. And the neighbors (all 50 of them) keep asking..." When are you ever going to make something pretty?" I answer... "This is as pretty as it gets." If you are the one to adopt this cute fella, you will have Something Lucky.

Everything we sell is produced in our studio in Hubbell, NE (population...52). Our stoneware is wheel thrown, hand altered and sculpted, fired to cone 5/6 and finished by hand one piece at a time. Every piece is an Original One OF A Kind. Teeth, eyes and most horns are created out of porcelain clay. All of our work is safe for food use and all of our glazes are lead-free and non-toxic. Once your get your new favorite piece in your very own hands, you can use it in a microwave, a dishwasher... even your oven( always put in a cold oven, not a preheated oven)!

A Note About Our Pictures: We do our best to take accurate pictures of every item, but bear in mind that lighting conditions and monitor calibration can change the appearance of colors. If you have a question about what you see, please contact us before you make a purchase.

Shipping policies

We ship via the United States Postal Service. Please supply us with a phone number and an email address when placing your order.

Because we ship US Priority Mail, each package is insured for the purchase price up to $100. If you want additional insurance, please let me know. I will let you know the additional charge.

If you need your package shipped as signature required for security, please let me know. I will let you know the additional charge.

International Customers: We will ship anywhere! We DO NOT pay customs fees. Custom fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Just send us a conversation and we’ll work out the details.

Because Etsy does not have an option to ship items separately, we always indicate larger box size so that it does not combine breakable items. If you are overcharged for the postage, we will refund the difference once the shipping label is created. You will then receive a message stating... So the good news is you have a refund of $_______. It must be your "Lucky" day. You can always message us and we can give you a fairly close idea as to what the actual shipping might be.

At that time I will assign a studio number to your order that will make it easier for me to keep track of your order as it travels through the process of creation. Please refer to that number when you need to update me on anything. It also helps me add anything to your order that you want me to know like color choice or if you want me to included a message if you made the purchase as a gift.

Once your order is pulled, it takes 3 weeks to go from start to finish. I will message you when your order has been placed, when it has been pulled to sculpt, when it has been bisque fired, wet sanded and glazed. I will send you a photo of your piece as soon as it is out of the kiln to let you know it is being packaged. The next day, your order should ship using priority 1- 3 days delivery.
