Description

The last day for shipping to the US in time for Christmas is 14 December, according to the Royal Mail. Please consider this when buying for Christmas.Measuring 6-1/2" (H) x 5" (W) x 1-1/2" (D), this attractive Candy tin, for Heller confectionary, was made in England ca 1930s.

Generally in good/very good condition, the colourful and amusing litho features rabbits, bunnies, a squirrel and chick playing on and around a slide. The inside of the tin has surface tarnish, as is common with tins of this vintage.

Unusually, this tin has a dual purpose, as 'The lid can be used as a small picture wall decoration, and should be hung by means of the curled edge on a nail.' This is printed on the base of the tin, which also features a representation of a typical English nursery, with toys seated around a small table, and a rocking horse in front of the window. This scene
is a great reminder of more innocent times, way before our children were glued to screens of one sort or another.

PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS CAREFULLY, AND FEEL FREE TO ASK IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. THE PICTURES ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION.
