Highlights
Vintage 1930s 1940s wood/wicker handbag/sewing basket. Made in Spain. The label is FOMERZ. Lightweight and adorable. The very top of the lid opens and is a good spot to put lipstick, a mirror and powder compact. Then the main lid opens and exposes a nice large area to carry essentials. This may very well be a sewing basket, but I have used it as a handbag. Adorable!
CONDITION : I note one small piece of wicker is broken off. It is on the main lid (SEE PIX). Is also missing one metal foot on the bottom. Has some slight dark discoloration areas on the bottom of the basket.
MEASURES:
Height including handles-8 1/2"
Left to right-10"
Front to back-8"
Circumference of small opening at the top ~17"
