This Handy Andy Tool Set was manufactured in Chicago and is dirty and scuffed but working perfectly. It includes the red metal box that has a closure and handle, a childs saw, a childs screwdriver, a childs hammer - all with wooden handles, a triangular straight edge w/hole measurements (this must have a technical name), the two nails dad let me use and the pencil I used as a child.

Special memories for me! My father earned extra 'side' money doing carpenter work along with three other jobs when I was growing up. Since I was the youngest of three girls, I turned into the boy he always wanted. Learning to saw, level, measure and hammer at his knee. Fully supported by this gift. My name is even written in pencil in the bottom of the box. My daddy is soon to be 91 and proud to tell everyone he has his own teeth! This means the tool box dates around late 1950 to very early 1960.
