Embera Chamí Flower charm on sterling silver necklace.

Tribe: Embera Chami
This beautiful beaded flower was handmade by a family from the Embera Chamí tribe in Colombia. The Embera Chami believe women bear the weight of the world on their shoulders, therefore they need to decorate them.

House of Jwära creates jewelry in partnership with the Embera Chami people of Colombia.
We are showcasing the traditional handcrafted artisan skills of the Embera Chami to the world. It's our mission to promote their heritage, respect their beliefs and encourage others to appreciate their beautiful and unique works of art.
Our message is clear. It's not about culture appropriation, it's about culture appreciation.
