i received my handbag this week and it was exactly what I hoped it would be. I fell in love with the original design of it but I wanted a few extras put into it. Aly worked her magic and out came a beautiful piece of art. I am carrying the bag as of now and expect to be for a long time coming. Have received many compliments and I direct people to her site. My story began when I bought a 1980s violet leather jacket at a vintage clothes fair. Other than the colour, it had little going for it. Classic 80s - quilting, boxy shape, big pockets, and a weird belt to make it 'safari' style. Thanks to Aly, I now have a totally unique bucket bag, which turns all the jacket's minuses into the bag's pluses. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted but Aly really took the time to finalise the design with me and add her own flourishes. She found a fab designer shirt to recycle as the lining and gave me what I asked for and more, checking with me at all stages of the process. The quality of the work is second to none and the bag really functions as a usable item. I can't wait for my next project with Aly - she is a creative and a professional to her fingertips.

Aly took four of my most beloved leather accessories and an old pair of jeans from college and made them new again. She combined them in a way that highlighted each piece while still bringing them together cohesively. I could not be more happy with her craftship and artistic talent. She gave these pieces new life and I will enjoy this bag forever. Thanks Aly!
