Hello and welcome to Ruby Floy. Your shop for a la carte rummaging and affordable original art.

I am offering these 3 antique romance novels together because they are all written by George Barr McCutcheon and are all set in or around the fictional country of Graustark.

The titles are:
"Beverly of Graustark", c. 1904, 357 pages, one color plate in front and 2-3 black and white illustrations within the story. Book is in very good condition.

"Truxton King", c. 1909, 369 pages, one black and white plate in front, and 3 black and white illustrations within the story. Book is in fair condition. Covers are coming loose and needs gentle handling. Inside pages are clean and in good condition.

"The Prince of Graustark", c. 1914, 394 pages, front plate is missing, 3 full color illustrations within the body of the story. Book is in very good condition. Covers are tight. I found one torn page inside- but page is intact.

All three books have a colored illustration glued onto their front covers. Pretty to display and charming to read. These were written at a time when there was a surplus of rich, marriagable American heiresses looking to travel Europe and find a duke or other blue blood to marry. These 3 novels definitely reflect that era!
