I call this our Texas star jar. We lived in Texas for awhile and we know how y'all feel about your stars. :) The jar was made by Owens-Illinois Glass Company at the Alton, Illinois plant during the 1970’s.

Perfect for liquid laundry detergent, or liquid soap in a busy kitchen or bathroom, this quart jar holds four cups.

This jar comes with a white pump in a reproduction zinc lid, but if you'd rather have a black pump, just leave us a note when you checkout.

Dimensions:
8.5 inches tall
3.5 inches wide
holds 4 cups of liquid

SOAP ALERT:

Certain soaps, especially soaps like Dawn, Palmolive and Dove Liquid Soap, are hard on the lids, causing corrosion to the underside. If this concerns you, simply request our modern two-piece lid http://www.etsy.com/shop/MidwestFinds/search?search_query=best+performance&search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_5568429&shopname=MidwestFinds It has a plastic underside with a built in rubber ring.

Other soaps create no problems at all. Lotions and hand sanitizer do very well.

This jar is in vintage condition with minor scratches and scuffs. For decades, it has been used for canning and other household chores.
