Description

This listing is for a PRINT ON PAPER of my painting "The Lost Treasures of Jeronda Island".

Dimensions: 11" x 17"

The original painting was done in acrylics, by me, the artist RARABIRD.

My signature is floating in the bubbles of the sea-foam in the bottom right corner. I also hand-sign each piece.

The theme of this painting is things we've lost and found in the sands of the beaches of our youths...beautiful smooth stones, pop tops, car keys, fabulous giant seashells, valuable exotic pearl necklaces, and even the cursed tiki god that Greg Brady discovered on the seashore of Hawaii. The green ceramic panther lighter was a treasured gem that a girlfriend (nicknamed Jeronda) and I lost while sunbathing on the beaches of Florida when we were young and beautiful and carefree. So really, it is about losing and remembering the thing we value most of all, our beautiful youth.

Custom paintings can also be requested. Please contact me, RARABIRD, the artist and Esty seller, with your ideas for a commissioned piece. I mainly work in Tiki, Fantasy, Mermaid, Nautical, Exotic and Tropical themes.

International shipping can be calculated per destination.

All prints are printed ON DEMAND. It takes one week to process: place the order at the printer, and packaging the print for shipping. Shipping and handling may take up to one week. Expect AT LEAST A WEEK from the date of placing your order to receiving your print.

Please see my other pages for other pieces painted by me.
