The pattern will produce a tree which is approximately 86 inches, but can be shortened by leaving off the bottom rows.
Original pattern by PAM! I had a chance meeting with PAM when I was only beginning to write IT HAPPENED IN SCOTLAND and was pondering what quilts should be featured in the book. It seemed meant to be when PAM told me about her Christmas tree quilt and gave me permission to write it into the story. I fell in love with her pattern and made the plaid tree pictured above.
