Each sign is cut, sanded, stained, and painted by hand. No stencils or vinyl are ever used. Because they are all done by hand, there may be perfect imperfections in each one. This is my favorite part because no two signs are ever exactly the same!

Sign will come ready to hang with hardware attached.

My processing time changes throughout the year, and varies based on product(s). You can find my current processing time posted in each listing and welcome announcement. Please be sure to double check this before you place your order.

Please note: Processing time does not include holidays, weekends, or shipping time. Your receipt will provide your estimated ship date - though this date will only be an estimate & can fluctuate by a few days. If your package is expected to ship over the weekend, it will be shipped out the following Monday.

Most items in my shop are made to order. "Made to order" simply means that each piece is custom made, one at a time. I source all of my lumber from a local lumber yard right here in Goshen, NH. I start by hand-selecting each and every piece of wood! Then, each piece is sanded, stained, and painted by hand.

Please note: Because of the unique nature of handmade work, measurements may not be exact.

All of the lettering and painting you see in my shop is done free hand. This means that no stencils or vinyl are ever used in my process. For this reason, no two creations will ever be identical - and that's my favorite part! Each piece is truly one of a kind.

YES! I love to work one-on-one with you to create something just for you!

I have a few "custom sign" listings in my shop for specific sizes. For these listings, you can simply order right from the listing and add your custom phrase in the order "notes" at checkout. If you are unsure if your phrase will fit on the size you selected, or would like a different size, simply send me a message! I would be happy to work out the specifics of your request before you place an order!

I'm more than happy to send you a sketch of your piece before it's created, but only if requested. Your satisfaction is my #1 priority, so I do everything I can to ensure you love what you receive!

In the unfortunate event that your package is lost or has stopped tracking; please let me know ASAP. I cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or delayed packages, but I will do my very best to help you as much as I can!

To ensure the fastest delivery time, please double check your shipping address before you checkout. If you send me a message after you place an order to correct an address, I can't guarantee that the address will be changed in time for shipment.

Please note: If a package is returned to me due to an incorrect address or because you have not picked your package up, I will not be responsible for paying to ship the package a second time. You will have to cover any additional shipping fees.

Due to the unique nature of handmade products, each return/exchange is handled on a case by case basis.

Please note: I do my best to capture the true color in each photo, however, wood is a natural product. Each piece will take the stain a bit differently. I will always use the same brand and color stain as pictured, but you may notice slight variations in shade as well as knots and sap cracks that occur naturally in wood. But these are the differences that make each piece unique and beautiful!

My #1 priority is you! I take pride in my work and want to ensure you love what you receive from Palace & James. If you aren't happy with what you ordered, please let me know right away and I will do everything I can to make it right.

Please note: Etsy advertises VAT (custom fees) are included in our store's pricing, but this is NOT the case. If you are a European customer, you could possibly be charged a customs fee upon receiving your order. These charges depend on the value and size of your package, as well as your country's taxes/import fees. Nevertheless, I cannot be held responsible for these charges. YES! If you are add multiple items to your cart and the shipping seems too high, please send me a message before you order! Often times, you will save in shipping costs if I can ship multiple items in the same box. To do this, I'm happy to set up a reserved listing for you to make things easier!

Right here on Etsy! All communication is done through Etsy so I can keep everything organized and respond to you in a timely manner.
