Another vintage keyhole necklace, the fourth in the series. Again, I try to use only vintage materials, and not modern stampings or reproductions.

Probably the most unique keyhole I've ever seen. Its in the shape of a door and has olive leaves over the arch of the door. In the center is the keyhole. This had to be to the entrance to a room with a lot of secrets!

I'm not sure what the keyhole is made of, but is coloured a very dark grey-green and has a green/white patina on it, which makes me think that its copper, but the backside is brass in color.

At the bottom is a diamond shaped peice of green aventurine.

The chain has a peice of curb chain inserted into the twisting rope/cobra chain. Both very old pewter or base metal.

-In total (including the chain, and the space of the keyhole), the necklace is 18inches.
-From the bottom of the keyhole to the bottom of the aventurine, it is 1.5inches.
-The keyhole is 3inches long and a little over one inch wide.
