This book is titled How to Improve your Bowling by Hugh R. High, yes high!!! I especially like the authors name, fits the contents of the book. Hidden in the faux book is a rather wide glass flask with a hard plastic cap and an aluminum shot glass top. The flask has a removable vinyl cover that when placed on the bottle will fasten down with the domed strap. Also two aluminum glasses with straps to dome them in tightly.

Marked on the inside front flap is the maker Royal London Ltd. with copyright symbol, 1968 and three patent numbers. The book safe is covered inside and out in a soft red and black patent leather material Has no rips or tears, some gold loss to the writing on the front cover, the side has all writing intact and clearly shows the title and the author when positioned upright on the bookself.

No chips or cracks on the flask bottle and the aluminum parts are in great vintage condition. The domes have a brownish tinge, otherwise all is in excellent condition. Overall measurement is 10 inches long by 5-3/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. Glasses are 2-3/8 inches tall and the bottle is 4-3/4 inches wide by 7-1/4 inches tall not including the screw top or the shot glass top on, and approx 1 inch deep.

Just the right size to carry in your bag, briefcase, etc. Or put it in place on that bookcase shelf, Mad men 1970s era fun for sure.
