The Gold-birds bowl has been made all by hand with no use of a potter’s wheel, inspired by the ancient motifs and olden methods before the invention of the potter’s wheel. The coloring method is inherited from the Seljuk Empire era of the Great Persia which is applied to the piece in several stages all by hand. The inside of the bowl is glazed using traditional lead free turquoise glaze combinations. The dark spots of the surface have given the piece a very unique character. In contrast, the underside is unglazed and decorated with a stunning hand-imprinted motifs. The shiny golden coat of the birds contains 11% pure gold and really highlights the superior quality of the product.

This one-of-a-kind hand-crafted piece is made from fine Persian clay that has been heated up to 1000°C for 3 times. This high-quality washable bowl could be used in everyday life for different purposes such as dining, serving, decoration, etc.

Ø Diameter: 17 cm
