We will dispatch your Etsy within 10 working days of you placing it - please remember all our pieces are handmade. You’ll receive an Etsy message with a tracking number to let you know when we’ve dispatched your order.

UK – All UK orders include free Royal Mail Special Delivery (Monday-Friday). If your order is dispatched on Monday-Thursday, you will receive your item by 1pm the next day. If your order is dispatched on Friday or Saturday, you will receive your item by 1pm the following Monday.

International – All International orders are posted by Royal Mail Signed/Tracked. Please allow 4-8 weeks after dispatch for your order to arrive. On the rare occasion that your order doesn’t arrive, we will do our best to locate your missing parcel. Sadly we cannot refund you or post out a replacement until we receive either the missing item or the compensation from Royal Mail.

Any charges or fees associated with your order such as customs charges or tax are the sole responsibility of you, the customer to pay. By placing an order, you are agreeing to this policy.

At Elouise Makes, we know how much our pets mean to us, so when you want to keep a piece of them close to you, it has got to be right. That’s why we offer the option for you to send in a picture of your pet (or your friend’s if it’s for a present) so that we can match their markings in our custom-made jewellery.

We offer this tailored option in case you have a particular favourite animal that is not in our current stock, so that we can make sure you and your furry (or perhaps, not-so furry) friend don’t feel left out.

Depending on the intricacy of your design, a bespoke piece can take between 4-6 weeks to design & make. Please do get in touch!

Bespoke pieces are made from recycled sheet from the Cookson Gold ‘Eco’ range. Cast pieces are made from recycled grain from Umicore and cast by VIPA designs.

I’ve chosen to work with VIPA designs because I love their values and they align with all of my ethics. They get all their recycled silver from Umicore.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to source precious metal findings that are made from recycled silver or gold – this includes any chain, clasps, jump rings, earring hooks, earring posts & backs, stick pins & pin protectors, and cufflink fittings. However, I only buy these findings from Cooksongold, who are a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council.

The paper covering the outside of the box is new, and the whole box, including the gold ‘Hot-Foil’ logo, is fully biodegradable and recyclable.

There’s a misconception that foil can’t be recycled, however on researching I found that, as my foiling is so incredibly thin – less than 2.5µm (microns) thick – it completely dissipates in the recycling process.

The foam filling is a compound made from Polyurethane-ether foam, Viscose flock and binder and is also recyclable. You may want to keep your box to keep your jewellery looking beautifully clean and shiny, but if you would like to recycle it, either send it back to Elouise Makes (for a cheeky 10% off your next order) or put the box in your cardboard recycling bin and the foam in the plas

They’re made from 75% recycled material and are fully recyclable and biodegradable. (Biodegradable means you can pop it in your home compost bin or use it for no-dig beds on the allotment!)

When I run out of these boxes I’ll be looking for more reusable boxes or ones made from 100% recycled materials.

Over time your recycled silver creature may tarnish. Keep it nice and shiny with a silver polishing cloth. You can buy these from most specialist jewellery shops, alternatively, you can get in touch and I would be happy to supply you with one.
