"Step Out Into The Day" is a celebration of a new dazzling day in the New Mexico landscape.
To my eye the vertical passages or doorways of this painting suggest different times of the day and weather. A day filled with gorgeous color and light, clouds and flight, birdsong and blue sky and an inviting rolling, path beckoning us to the mountains.
This painting is painted on sturdy panel; the edges/sides of the painting have been painted a flat grey, rendering a frame unnecessary/optional."
