Raw brass is a good quality metal. It' guaranted nickel free. Sometimes it can tarnish, with certain types of skins but you can clean it easily with silver cleaner.

You can have it in other colors, if you like. This item is also available with deep blue/rust/white or pastel blue/light grey/off-white

I ordered this item as a gift but it took a long time to arrive. I contacted the seller on Etsy for an update and so far I have had no communication. The item finally arrived and it is too late to give as a gift as I intended. I will keep the necklace but I'm afraid I would be hesitant in ordering again from this seller as delivery and communication has not been satisfactory.
