wonderful eclectic set of 24 pieces of made in japan hand painted luster porcelain ware from the 50s. for the person who likes a little variety...

this is a mix and match set of some matching and some almost matching sets of 5 luncheon plates, 7 tea cups and saucers, 3 butter dishes, and a creamer and sugar.

the creamer and sugar bowl are an opalescent pearl blue with orange luster trim and black banding. these these have 3 matching saucers, 3 teacups, and 4 lunch plates that all bear a simple made in japan stamp in luster orange on the bottoms. the other 4 saucers, tea cups and 1 lunch plate have a beautiful cherry blossom pattern in black and white on a creamy orange luster background with lilac luster rims --these are stamped made in japan in red with an emblem above. the 3 butter dishes which appear almost identical to the lunch plates have a different stamp which reads "meito china, hand painted, made in japan.

all in great condition with no chips or cracks, some wear of luster on a few of the lunch plates.

this will be a somewhat heavy package. please email me for a shipping quote-- thanks!
