Indigo Mudcloth Pillow Cover
This pillow cover is made with an authentic mudcloth textile, or bogolanfini, hand-made by artisans in Mali, Africa. It is hand spun on a loom with natural, unprocessed cotton and then colored and designed with all natural dyes and fermented mud. This complicated process dates back to the 12th century.
This particular piece of mudcloth is a vibrant indigo and white.
The back of the pillow is made with a cream colored natural linen. It has an invisible zipper for closure.
This pillow cover is made to order and is available in several different sizes as shown in the drop down menu. If you don't see the size you are looking for for, just message me and we'll see what we can do!
Due to the handmade nature of this textile, each pillow cover is truly unique. The pattern itself may be slightly different than the one shown.
The pillow cover shown is 16” x 16” (41cm x 41cm)
Caring for your pillow cover: spot clean, hand-wash with cold water, lay flat to dry. If desired, iron on medium setting.

This is a stylish and adorable handmade pot. I was expected something a little heavier duty (it's more of a lightweight tin with the cloth sewn around it) but it's darling and I love that it's handmade. I'm happy with my purchase.
