A handmade bracelet, made of base metal with silver plating on the upper side and made in Mexico. The inside of the bracelet is polished and shows the base metal, so without a finish. The outside of the bracelet has a silver patined layer, it is stamped with a nice Aztec pattern. The bracelet is marked with a logo on the outside near the joint. Tiny and eligible mark, probably the logo of the designer or silver mark. Also marked on the inside: “Taxco” and “Mexico” surrounding an Aztec logo that looks like an eagle and the logo of the designer. This is a piece made in the Taxco village in Mexico, a village famous for its silver mines and the crafts production of mostly silver jewelry. This bracelet dates probably to the 1950s-1970s period. Good vintage condition, on some places the motifs are partially erased, especially near the joint; age related wear.
