Description

For your consideration one Flow Blue China, New Wharf Pottery Astoria pattern oval dish in pristine antique condition!

The milk white serving dish has a very deep cobalt blue color, a lot of flow, and a shiny glaze.

A cobalt blue scalloped 1/4" band is prominent around the slightly scalloped edge of this oval bowl.

The design features sprays of floral bunches around the outer edge, with the two sprigs on the sides extending into the well, and a scrolled leaf design on the ends.

The rim is embossed with white beading and scrolls.

It is free of chips, cracks and crazing. Please review the photos for a detailed description of this serving bowl.

Measurements at its widest points are approximately 10.5" by 7.5" by 2".

Backstamp: New Wharf Pottery Co. Mark 98, circa 1890-1894. 'Astoria' ,Crown and Staffordshire Knot, New Wharf Pottery, England, Semi-Porcelain.

This collectible antique oval bowl is in excellent condition with great display properties. I inherited from my grandmother.
