"Kuknos" is derived from the Greek name for a swan, and "Remiges" are a scientific term for the long flight feathers on the posterior side of a bird's wing. The curling white spines and the graceful arch of the main structure evoke avian imagery. Many people have also suggested that they resemble the feathery crests of a cockatiel.

Made with layers of hand-cut rubber, these eye-catching earrings are inspired by the growth patterns of plants and animals. Each piece is lovingly hand made; as in the natural world, no two are exactly alike.

Rubber over an aluminum armature. They are durable, yet extremely lightweight! Pieces are approximately 1 1/2 inches long. Ear wires are hypoallergenic surgical stainless steel. Sterling silver earwires are also available.
