Directions are for newborn size.
Measurements are approximately 12" across laid flat
by 18-19" in length. Should fit newborn to approx 3 months.
stitches required:
chains, half double crochet, double crochet, crocodile st.(double crochet)
slip stitch, single crochet, embroidery for eye lashes
Materials needed
2 skeins of worsted weight (cat.#4) yarn for the bottom section
1 skein for the top and the cap.
Hook sizes H and J
Small amounts of contrasting colors for eyes and beak
yarn needle.

Wonderful pattern! I changed it up a bit by adding the owl face to a beanie but the cocoon was written wonderfully and came out perfect! Highly recommend this pattern!!!
