Description

Merry and her pup Eddy are sea otters. They're the smallest...and if you ask me the cutest of all marine mammals. Eddy is Merry's first pup...although he's not that little anymore. He never wanders far from his mother. At night she pulls him tight towards her as they join the raft of otters. Nobody ever floats away. Life is sweet for this little pair!

This design can be made using a faux fur with a supple backing or wool felt. All pattern pieces print to standard Australian A4 size paper so no cutting and sticking involved to make templates. Merry's finished size is around 25 cm and Eddy is 21 cm.

Merry and Eddy are made using glass teddy bear eyes. Full supervision should be given to children to whom small parts may pose a choking hazzard.

I go to every length to provide detailed and easily understood written instructions. Merry and Eddy will be a satisfying project for a toy maker who's made a few softies but may be a bit of a challenge for a first time maker or someone who hasn't worked with fur before...however, if you do have any bumps in the road while making this little fella please don't hesitate to contact me (jenny@frazzydazzles.com) and I'll provide you with any help, tips or support you need to finish your lovely otters.

Please note that as I'm an Australian designer. All measurements will be given using the metric system.

While I'm happy for you as the purchaser to make Merry and Eddy and sell your work on a small scale such through a market I do ask that all labeling and marketing material identify myself and or Frazzy Dazzles as the original designer. The copying of and or re-selling/re-distribution of this pattern either in paper or digital form just isn't very nice.

Thank you for looking at my little sea otters. If you like my designs you might like to follow my Frazzy Dazzles page of Facebook and Instagram. That's where I share all new and emerging designs first.
