Shipping policies

We post with Australia Post, using the least expensive method available. This method does not include tracking or insurance. These services are available at additional cost. Convo us if you would like to have either option added to your purchase.

We cannot and will not be held accountable for parcels that go missing as that is the fault of the carrier and not us. We will help you out as much as we can, but be aware that if you have not purchased insurance you may not be entitled to a payment from the post service. If you are worried that your parcel might get lost you can purchase insurance at your additional cost. Australia Post will not treat a parcel as missing until it is late by 90 days.

Our policy is in line with Australian legal advice as provided by Slater & Gordon: "If your seller is located in Australia, our consumer laws will apply. Australian sellers are required to repair or replace a product that is defective or does not live up to expectations, amongst other things, but these consumer guarantees do not extend to replacing an item that was posted by them, which was subsequently lost by Australia Post." You can view their full advice here: https://www.slatergordon.com.au/blog/what-happens-when-your-parcel-lost-post

We make every effort to ensure that your purchase arrives safely and promptly, and pack with care. We double check the address and ensure it is legible.

Depending on the product, some orders are shipped as letters/documents (printed matter) and others as parcels. In accordance with Australia Post requirements, all parcels are shipped with a customs slip. We cannot underestimate the value of your purchase or mark it as a gift in order to avoid duties and taxes. To do so is against the law and would expose us and you to prosecution.

Customs charges and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. If you refuse your parcel on the basis of imposition of duties and taxes, we cannot refund your purchase until we receive it back.

FAQs

It is hard to choose what size to make. We do our best to explain what sizes our models are wearing, how they fit, and the length of each garment. Chest sizes given are the upper limit for the fit of the garment and based on Australian sizing charts.

Our sizing is very similar to Target and Australian brand Cotton On, and a smidge smaller than Bonds and Pumpkin Patch.

Knit fabrics and knitted garments have more forgiveness in their sizing than woven fabric patterns because of the stretch involved.
We do offer seller rights, but we need to have a chat about it first. We like to make sure that there is only one seller for a design in any given area, and we like to have a great relationship with our makers. If you’d like to join our growing group of greatness, fill in the form found on our contact page at www.evieandessie.com and we’ll be in touch.
Yes, that’s the plan! We do have some designs cooking away. If you’d like to be notified when they are ready you can sign up to our mailing list on our website or favourite our store on Etsy. If there’s anything in particular you’d like to see, just shoot us a convo.

What’s wrong with this listing?

The first thing you should do is contact the seller directly.

If you’ve already done that, your item hasn’t arrived, or it’s not as described, you can report that to Etsy by opening a case.
