Description

This charming little nightlight is created from an upcycled glass olive oil bottle. It is hand-painted with acrylic paints and hand-dyed paper towels which diffuses the light from the USB charged light that is inserted into the bottle top. When lit, it reminds me of a Japanese lantern in shades of coral, orange and pink with gold on the top and bottom. It is perfect sitting on the bathroom counter, a ladies vanity or hall table.

It is 9" H (including the cork light) x 2.5" x 2.5".

To turn on the light, remove the 'cork', twist the light at the tip and reinsert into the bottle. The light is rechargeable by a USB connection. It takes less than one hour to fully recharge and stays lit for over 24 hours.

I make my 'hand-dyed paper towels' by soaking paper towels in my brushwater when I get a nice colored water when I am painting. I then wring them out and lay them out to dry. I use them in collage and in decorating my bottles and jars.

This was sent from PimmCreations in Charlottesville Virginia USA to me in Adelaide, Australia in 10 working days.

It looks like a "Wild Ocean"
With a planet in the sun set
And a tiny whit moon also in the sky.

It is only a trick of the light but WOW.

I'll be keeping an eye on PimmCreations for other extraordinary things.

This was a gift to my sister- in law, for her Birthday. she almost didn't get it... I loved it so much!! But that is the best gift of all. Bobbie did a wonderful job with this lamp and the shipping. Made it before her birthday and she is thrilled with it!
