Description

This is a lovely portrait photo of a teenage girl. The charm of the moment, and of the era, is captured in the off-hand description added to the back: Albie, the youngest girl.

This piece was included with a large set of extended family photographs taken in 1904, possibly inspired by the family visit to the World Fair in St. Louis. Sadly, any correspondence originally included with the photos has since been lost, but I will be posting the most intriguing pictures from the collection, in time. This picture is mounted to 4x6 cardstock provided by the Jarvis photography studio of Ottawa, Canada.

If you have a project which requires family resemblance in a grouping of pictures (at least 3 generations included in this group) just let me know. I'd be happy to help.
