Wood tops comes in two different thickness, standard 1.5" or thick 2.5". Prices here reflect standard 1.5" thick wood top.

At Urban Wood Goods we focus on preserving and re-purposing salvaged Old Growth lumber by transforming it into beautiful furniture. The beauty of reclaimed lumber is unsurpassed. Left to age among the elements or existing virtually untouched in an abandoned factory, a century old home or barn, these woods are transformed by the natural aging process. The Old Growth lumber we use comes from century old reclaimed beams, floor joists and roof boards that have been deconstructed in the mid-west, typically in the Chicago area. All of our lumber is KILN DRIED in a dry heat kiln which stabilizes the lumber to reduce movement and ensures there is nothing left living inside.
