This unique decorative wall decor features a miniature black vintage sewing machine 1 1/2" long mounted onto a yellow floral patterned repurposed fabric. It is framed in an ornate vintage brass frame with a black glossy finish measuring 4x6 inches.

The first functional sewing machine was invented by the French tailor, Barthelemy Thimonnier, in 1830. The inventor was almost killed by an enraged group of tailors who burnt down his garment factory because they feared unemployment as a result of his new invention!

The frame has a ring on the back and is ready to hang on your wall and add a touch of whimsy to your room! Due to the nature of handmade art, your piece may have slight variations from the pictures above. Please remember that colors you see may vary because of differences in monitors.
