Description

A very unusual piece. Originally I think it would have been a wall lamp. I found the bracket on the south coast of the Uk with no glass. I thought it would make a perfect tooth brush holder or tea light candle holder. The ring pivots on the back plate. It is made from solid brass an teak. It is in good and solid condition but has suffered a crack the brass leaf stem. This does not affect its performance. Dating from circa. 1860-1880. It measures 24.2cms total height with glass, 15.2cms wide and 13cms deep. 9 1/2 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 5 1/8 inches deep.
