This pendant gets its name from the turquoise mine
in which it’s remarkable stone was excavated. The
Kingman Mine is the oldest known turquoise mine in North
America and was initially discovered by Native Americans
from the Arizona area. It’s been said that the American Indians
are credited for the creation of turquoise and, legend has it,
that turquoise was created when the American Indians would
perform their ritual dance to give thanks for the rain.

Measures approximately 1 1/2 by 3/4 inches.
