Unusual long gothic statement necklace inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula story. This is actually a set of two necklaces.

Faceted polished garnets, grey freshwater pearls, red jasper rounds, etched serpentine jade and Raku fired beads decorate the antiqued etched brass chain. Finely detailed sterling spiders make their way up the chain toward little vintage birds. In the very back is a little Czech glass cat.
The brass pendant is a vintage piece from Thailand. Don't ask me what those flies are doing.

Mr. Renfield believed he gained strength by consuming lives. A " zoophagous maniac" is how his doctors described him. He would catch flies and feed them to spiders, then feed the spiders to birds. Then eat the birds, thereby absorbing all the lives along the way. He asked his attendants for a cat but they were wise to his theories and said "no way", or however they phrased that back then.

The Renfield necklace is long, 34" (86cm) and closes with an antiqued sterling toggle. The pendant drop is 2" (5cm). The little antiqued brass stamping bat necklace is a bit less than 22" (55.8cm) long and closes with a spring ring clasp.

The necklaces will be shipped USPS with insurance and domestic tracking included in the shipping price. I do use signature confirmation for shipments over $100.
