Vintage 1960s black wool fedora. This slouchy ladies hat with wide and low brim is very soft and feels like fur on the outside. It's trimmed with a topstitched grosgrain ribbon hatband and accented in back with a covered button. Very stylish and in excellent condition, this is a wearable hat. The top is stamped inside "Empress, Body Made In Western Germany." A size 22 fabric label is sewn into the sweatband. Interior circumference measures exactly 22 in. Brim in front measures 3 1/2 in.; in back 2 1/4 in. Beautiful for a period or Halloween gangster costume or photo prop.
