natural aquamarine crystals, untreated blue jadeite, scleractinia fossil coral, triassic era horn shaped fossil corals, 1970s vintage African ostrich eggshell, solid sterling silver beading wire, sterling silver toggle clasp, antique Hebron trade beads

Dimensions

Necklace length: 19 Inches; Pendant height: 1.75 Inches

This 19 inch (48.3 cm) paleolithic necklace is formed from an intriguing collection of rare and ancient curios.

The central coral fossil is a triassic scleractinia, and the two ancient horn-shaped corals that time has turned to limestone. These fossil pendants are flanked by ancient yellow Hebron glass trade beads and two rugged aquamarine crystal spikes. The aquamarines are slightly translucent in parts, and have a pale yellow that spiders over the fissures in each.

Six natural blue jadeite barrel beads from Asia were carved by my talented artist friend Ray Robbins -- these are rare and the real deal. Smooth vintage African Bushman-made ostrich eggshell beads curve around the back to a .925 sterling silver toggle clasp.

All metals on this necklace, both seen and unseen are solid .925 sterling silver -- this includes the extra thick heavy duty nylon-coated beading wire. It's the best of the best and quite expensive, and you will enjoy its comfort, flexibility and strength.

The scleractinia coral fossil is 1.75 inches long (4.4 cm), and the two triassic fossil corals are 2 (5.1 cm) and 2.5 inches (6.4 cm). The two aquamarine crystals are 1.5 (3.8 cm) and 1.25 inches (3.2 cm) long.

This special cavewoman necklace is one of a kind and cannot be duplicated. I made it from elements I find completely awesome and saved for myself for the longest time. I hope it sparks your imagination as well.
