Description

These unique earrings showcase quite rare tokens from the 1962 Seattle Worlds Fair. When it opened, the midway of the 1962 World's Fair was called "Gayway" or “Gayway 21” which was a space-oriented amusement zone that showcased 19 different rides. These tokens were produced for the fair and were used to play the various games. Tokens measure 5/8" diameter and are encased in silvertone bezels. (The backs of the tokens read "Gayway 21") I haved added turquoise glass faceted beads and vintage rhinestones for a touch of sparkle. Sterling silver earwires.

Total earring length is about 1.75 inches. Earrings are light to medium weight.

Charming and cute earrings. Love the World's Fair theme, I attended as a child in 1962 so I love the idea of these. Fast delivery too.
