Spring Decor "Daffodils of the East Central States" Calender Painting Large Rectangle Glass Paperweight March Birthday.

This glass paperweight contains a richly detailed painting of "Daffodils of the East Central States" (narcissus species), done in 1946 by Edna Reindel. The "Flowers of Our Land" series of 12 paintings featured different flowers from various regions of the country and graced a calender for John Morrell & Co. It has a metallic, gold frame that is hand-painted.

The large rectangle paperweight measures 5 1/8" x 3 1/2" x 1 1/8" and weighs 1 lb. 4.4 ounces with a signed, matching felt bottom. Would be a lovely gift for someone with a March birthday. March's flower is the Daffodil (also known as Jonquil or Narcissus) and stone is the aquamarine.
