Materials

Fenton Art Glass, Rare Fenton Glass, Fenton Hand Vase, White and Gold Iridescent Glass, Circa 1940s Vase, Circa 1950s Vase, Vintage Glass, Mid Century Glass, White With Gold Overlay Vase, White and Gold Vase, Hand Holding Cornucopia Vase, West Virginia Art Glass, Mid Century Hand Vase

This a rare vase made by the Fenton Art Glass Company, in the shape of a hand holding a cornucopia vase. It has a gold iridescent overlay, a ruffled top, and a white interior. It was likely made in the 1940s or 1950s, when the company made several other types of hand vases. (Fenton was also known to have created some hand vases in the 1960s.) It is like a vase that Fenton made, in a limited edition, to celebrate its 95th anniversary in 2000. Unlike the anniversary vase, this vase does not have a logo sticker and does not have the Fenton mark on the bottom, which the company began putting on its products in the 1970s. This particular vase is known to have been created in at least one other color. The other color is Black Rose (a rose interior with a black border), with a white iridescent overlay.

This vase is 6 inches (at its widest point) by 10 3/4 inches (high).

This item is in good vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. The is a tiny manufacturing flaw/air bubble, on the underside.
